Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes in Worthing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join nights at Pentlands Nursing Home. The role covers 24 hours per week across shifts including 8-2, 2-8, and 8-8, reporting to the Home Manager.

You will work with a clinical team to deliver planned, proactive and reactive care in a safe home environment. The ideal candidate has nursing qualifications, geriatric care experience, strong communication and IT skills, and a hands-on, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with valid UK PIN.
• Nursing degree or higher required.
• Experience in elderly/geriatric care preferred.
• Ability to use MS Office for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety for all residents.
• Champion patient choice and autonomy in daily care.
• Support and assist the care team on duty with plans and duties.
• Foster relationships with families and carers and keep them informed.
• Prepare and update individualized care plans with timely documentation.
