Job summary

South Coast Nursing Homes Ltd in Worthing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night team at Pentlands Nursing Home. You will work with an experienced clinical team to deliver planned, proactive and reactive care, ensuring safety and high standards for residents.

The role requires a nursing degree and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with strong communication and IT skills, and a commitment to compassionate geriatric care.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of nursing experience.
Nursing degree or higher required.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage strain.
Strong verbal and non-verbal reporting skills.
Experience in geriatric, frailty, and end-of-life care is desirable.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of patient care and safety for all residents.
Champion patient choice and ensure dignified, respectful care.
Support the care team and coordinate with colleagues to deliver excellent resident care.
Promote morale and effective teamwork across shifts.
Foster communication with families, advocates and NOK about residents’ wellbeing.
Complete documentation timely with care plans updated as needs change.
