Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Recycling) to support our recycling processes in the UK. You will help keep the warehouse running by processing card, plastic and food waste, and working with colleagues to ensure timely collections during a night shift from 20:30 to 05:00.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.80–£14.45) with a 40-hour contract, generous holiday (pro rata 30-35 days), and benefits including pension and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Ability to work with all types of stock indoors, outdoors, or in chilled areas.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
• Good attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles into the recycling area.
• Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently.
• Work with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track.
• Update Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues.
• Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks.
• Support driver debriefs and check outbound lanes for correct pallet placement.
• Help warehouse operations and keep standards high with a clean-as-you-go approach.
