Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is recruiting for a Night Shift Yard Protection Operative at Selhurst Depot. The role involves supervising a team, protecting personnel, and managing depot safety during night shifts.

You will operate CTS equipment, ensure Safe Systems of Work, and coordinate depot activities to maintain a safe and high-quality train environment. Previous safety-critical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Controlled Track Switches (CTS) to safely de-energise/re-energise 750V DC conductor rail within depot sidings.
• Lead and support teams to maintain a safe, clean, high-quality train environment.
• Coordinate day-to-day depot activities and ensure work is completed safely and to required standards.
• Supervise depot activities, monitor quality, inspect trains and infrastructure, and report defects and safety concerns.
• Act as Fire Precautions Manager and designated First Aider; participate in safety meetings and training.
