Job summary

Yeo Valley operates at a Newton Abbot site producing ice creams and desserts. They are seeking a Production Team Manager to lead a night shift, develop the team and ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes cost control, efficiency, and collaboration with other functions to deliver on KPIs. The successful candidate will drive improvements, coach staff, and develop people while working in a high-pace environment on nights (18:00–06:00).

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a production/operations team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with IT software such as Microsoft Office.
• Health & Safety knowledge or qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a night shift production team to deliver on KPI's.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Drive continuous improvement to efficiency and cost.
• Collaborate with other functions to plan and prioritise work.
• Deliver reporting and maintain quality assurance.
