Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting a Production Line Technician for a market-leading medical manufacturer in Crawley. The role follows a night shift pattern of 4 on, 4 off.

You will set up, operate and monitor automated production machinery to ensure products meet quality standards and production targets. The ideal candidate has experience setting up production machinery, troubleshooting faults, and working toward production targets with a focus on health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating production machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine faults and adjust per procedures.
• Experience working toward production targets and maintaining quality.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating automated production machinery per procedures.
• Carrying out machine adjustments, test runs and initial batch checks.
• Monitoring machine performance and performing quality checks.
• Identifying and resolving machine faults through troubleshooting.
• Working with maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime.
• Achieving production targets while maintaining quality, safety and efficiency.
• Maintaining accurate machine logs and communicating during shift handovers.
