Job summary

Extons Foods Ltd is seeking a Line Leader to oversee production on their line, train and mentor staff, and ensure adherence to the Quality manual and company procedures. The role requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate will have food processing experience, Level 2 health & safety certification, and a proactive attitude to drive efficiencies while maintaining product quality.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience leading a team.
• Experience in food processing is essential.
• Be qualified in food safety and health & safety Level 2.
• Willing to undertake additional training online and in-class.
• Positive, proactive attitude with good interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Be competent and safe with production machinery and equipment.
• Monitor operatives to ensure production efficiency.
• Lead the team with a flexible approach to daily information and customer needs.
• Supervise work to meet specifications.
• Communicate company requirements to operatives.
• Attend production meetings and contribute to huddles.
• Suggest improvements to the company.
• Coordinate daily receipt and dispatch with customer needs.
