Job summary

AstraZeneca GmbH in Macclesfield is seeking a Process Leader to oversee night-shift manufacturing operations in a regulated environment. You will lead the day-to-day performance of the process area, ensuring safe, compliant and timely production while coaching teams and driving improvements.

The role requires line management experience, Lean manufacturing knowledge and strong communication. You will build cross-functional relationships in a highly regulated setting and support career development

Qualifications

A degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience leading manufacturing teams.
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the designated manufacturing process area.
Manage and develop a manufacturing team, directly or via Team Leaders.
Set clear objectives and ensure team understands contribution to broader goals.
Coach team members to improve performance and develop capability.
Manage resources including skills coverage, holidays, absence and overtime.
Ensure production plans are delivered on time and to quality, cost and asset standards.
Promote Lean, 5S and continuous improvement across the area.
