Job summary

Reach plc is offering a training role on high-speed production machinery within our print operation in Oldham. You will work nights on a 4 on/4 off schedule, including weekends, gaining hands-on experience setting rollers and operating Wifag Reel stands.

The role focuses on quality, safety, teamwork and operational reliability as you learn the trade. You will be supported by our No.2 Printer and Shift Managers while developing production skills, with full training and progression opportunities

Qualifications

Team player with the ability to lead a team.
Be attentive to detail and focussed on quality.
Ability to work shifts and follow site policies.
FLT trained with Grab truck qualification is desirable.
Experience in Press Operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

Hands-On Training: Learning to set rollers and operate presses.
Quality Excellence: Maintain high standards and report issues.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot mechanical or material issues to keep presses running.
Workflow Support: Carry out pre- and post-run checks and maintain schedule.
