Job summary

Major Recruitment are partnering with a prestigious manufacturing company based in New Mills to recruit Technical Machine Operators for their growing production team. In this role you will operate machinery safely and efficiently, helping maintain high production and quality standards.

You will work a fixed night shift pattern, including Sunday 00:00–06:00 and Mon–Thu 22:00–06:00, with a pay rate of £15.77 per hour (£13.10 base + £2.67 shift differential).

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience is essential
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
• Ability to work the required shift patterns, including rotating shifts where applicable
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any defects or issues
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the production team to achieve daily output targets
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with site standards
• Carrying out manual handling and lifting duties where required
