Job summary

Enable Scotland is seeking Personal Assistants to work night shifts in Livingston and Blackburn, supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve their goals. The role includes personal care, moving and handling as needed, and helping individuals stay engaged in activities.

We welcome you even if you have no care experience; values and transferable skills are valued. Training is provided, PVG costs covered, and SSSC registration is supported within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt communication style to build successful relationships with people we support.
• Commitment to work with individuals through personal support plans to help achieve goals.
• Positive and flexible outlook; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, moving and handling as required.
• Support with social activities and expanding social networks.
• Work with the care team to ensure safety, wellbeing and outcomes for people supported.
