Job summary

Enable is an award-winning social care charity recruiting Personal Assistants for Livingston & Blackburn. You will work 20 hours per week during night shifts (9 PM–7 AM in Livingston; 10 PM–8 AM in Blackburn), earning £13.45 per hour and supporting individuals to achieve their goals with a person-centred approach.

No prior care experience is required; we hire on values and transferable skills. The role may involve personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support to help

Qualifications

• The ability to adapt your communication style to develop successful relationships with the people we support.
• Commitment to work with individuals through personal support plans to help them reach goals.
• A positive and flexible outlook to work, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks as required.
• Support moving and handling and positive behavioural support as needed.
• Help individuals expand social networks and connections while promoting safety and wellbeing.
