Job summary

pladis Global in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Production Operative (Team Member 1) for the night shift (7pm-7am) at Long Lane, Aintree, L9 7BQ. You will join the Manufacturing Team to produce our products to specification safely and with right first-time quality.

The role focuses on keeping lines running, starting up and shutting down per standard procedures, coordinating material movements, and communicating clearly with the shift team.

Qualifications

• Basic Food hygiene level 2 is required.
• Experience with isolation and lock-off procedures is desirable.
• Completion of pladis induction is expected.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and quality standards on all tasks.
• Optimise line output by setting up machines and reviewing line performance data.
• Coordinate material movement and ensure startup/shutdown follow standard procedures.
• Maximise plant efficiency and minimise waste.
• Conduct food safety and quality checks on the line.
• Communicate key information to colleagues and other shift teams.
• Support site training and demonstrate core tasks to peers.
