Job summary

pladis Global is seeking a Multi-Skilled Production Operative (Team Member 1) at our Long Lane, Aintree site in Liverpool. The role sits within the Manufacturing Team, contributing to the factory’s goals by safely producing to spec with right-first-time quality.

You will monitor line performance, coordinate material movement, plan start-ups/shut-downs, and work to maximise efficiency while minimising waste.

• Optimise line output via machine setup and data review.
• Coordinate material movement.
• Plan and perform start-up/shut-down per documents and checklists.
• Maximise plant efficiency and minimise waste.
• Conduct food safety and quality checks on the line.
• Communicate key information to shift teams.
• Support site training through demonstrations.
