Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a Night Shift Multi-skilled Engineer to keep our production running safely and efficiently. You will own engineering support overnight, respond to breakdowns, carry out reactive and preventive maintenance, supporting production with adjustments and fault-finding to minimise downtime.

You will identify recurring issues, drive improvements in machine reliability and record activities in CMMS.

Qualifications

Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification.
Proven multi-skilled engineering experience in FMCG/manufacturing.
Competent in isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry.
Experience using CMMS for maintenance records.
Able to work night shifts and autonomously.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of engineering support overnight and respond to breakdowns.
Carry out reactive repairs, PPM and corrective maintenance.
Support Production with machinery adjustments, changeovers, setup and fault-finding.
Identify recurring issues and drive improvements in machine reliability.
Record breakdowns, maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS.
Prioritise engineering work based on production needs.
Carry out root cause analysis and support FMECA and CI activities.
Support external contractors and capital projects as required.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and engineering documentation.
Provide clear handovers to incoming engineering team.
