Job summary

APRIL QUEST LIMITED is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing site operating a 24 hour production line in the Southampton area. This night-shift role involves supervising one Technician and performing fault diagnosis, RCA, and proactive maintenance to minimise downtime.

You will work with electro-mechanical equipment including pick & place machines, SMT printers, conveyors, robotics and sensors, applying problem-solving skills and CI methods to improve

Qualifications

• Time served or HNC in electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.
• 2/3+ years' experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, robotics and related automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate a 24-hour production line and related equipment.
• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement continuous improvements.
• Supervise one Technician and support small CI projects.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance to minimise downtime.
