Job summary

McCormick is seeking a proactive and multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Night Shift to join our Engineering team. You will support the safe, efficient operation of production equipment during the night shift, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement.

Based on site, you will follow safety standards, complete maintenance documentation, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and QA to improve reliability and product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
• Familiar with CMMS documentation and spare parts management.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-skilled maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and controls.
• Respond to breakdowns and return equipment to service.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and work orders on time.
• Record maintenance work in the CMMS and track spare parts.
• Coordinate with stores for spare parts availability.
• Provide clear handovers to the next shift.
• Work with Engineering, Production, Operations, and QA teams to improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
