Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer for nights in Rushden, Northamptonshire. You will perform day-to-day engineering, maintenance and fault finding to minimise downtime, improve OEE and uphold safety, quality and compliance across the site.

The role requires a recognised engineering qualification and experience with electrical installation, PLCs/HMIs, pneumatics and hydraulics. Shift-based, commutable from nearby towns.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC or NVQ is required.
• Electrical installation experience with 17th/18th edition desirable.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics and hydraulics is essential.
• Ability to read electrical engineering drawings is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs.
• Support TPM and planned preventative maintenance routines.
• Reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage engineering parts, materials and stock control.
• Complete safety checks and hazard assessments to ensure safe practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and energy efficiency projects.
