Job summary

Gap Technical Ltd. in Corby is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve a range of production equipment, ensuring uptime and supporting site performance.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis on electrical and PLC-controlled systems, and collaboration with production teams to drive efficiency and safety across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification required or equivalent.
• Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing or fast-paced production.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults, including PLCs.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability.
• Working with production teams to maximise efficiency.
• Ensuring maintenance activities meet safety and food manufacturing standards.
