Job summary

Greencore Northampton is recruiting for a full-time production role with a permanent contract. You will work Thursday to Monday, 20:00-04:30, at a rate of £16.14 per hour, based in Northampton NN3.

You’ll startup machinery, conduct checks, ensure proper labelling and support a safety-focused team on a high-standard production line. Join a leading UK convenience food producer and contribute to delivering quality products across our campus of five units, with extensive on-the-job training and

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and English language skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrates safe working practices and strong H&S habits.
• Accurate with attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in FMCG or warehouse environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Daily machinery start-up and continuous oversight.
• Reporting machinery faults as necessary.
• Ensuring correct label usage to maintain high standards.
• Regular completion of compliance checks, including date and code verification.
• Adherence to compliance controls, risk assessments, and SSOW.
• Ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues and oneself.
• Performing quality checks and addressing quality or food safety issues promptly.
• Collaborating within a close-knit production team.
