Job summary

Sammons Recruitment Ltd is currently recruiting an experienced Machine Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment on an ongoing temporary basis. This role involves operating manual machinery, setting up and adjusting equipment, and following detailed production processes to ensure quality and safety.

Night shifts run Sunday to Thursday, 22:00–06:00, with weekly pay. Full training is provided, and reliability and adherence to procedures are essential for meeting daily targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating manual machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures.
• Reliable, flexible and willing to work night shifts.
• Good awareness of health and safety.
• Cleanroom or controlled environment experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who is comfortable working with manual machinery and following detailed production processes. Experience in a cleanroom or controlled production environment would be an advantage, although it is not essential. Full training will be provided on the specific machinery and processes, so we are looking for someone reliable, hands-on and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
