Severfield, the UK’s leading structural steelwork group, is seeking a Night Shift Lead for our Dalton site. You will oversee night operations across fabrication, welding, paint shop, CNC, and logistics, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.

Responsibilities include leading teams, coordinating resources, and working with a second Shift Lead to align priorities and site performance. IOSH/NEBOSH and NVQ Level 3 credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication, Welding, or a related discipline.

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and quality requirements.

Vacancy Details

We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Lead to oversee the safe, efficient, and effective operation of a designated area of our manufacturing facility. Responsible for functions including Fabrication, Welding, Paint Shop, CNC Operations, and Logistics, you will ensure production targets are delivered while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and team performance.
