Job summary

SSP Deutschland GmbH at Victoria Station is hiring a Night Shift Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis (20 hours). Shifts run 22:00–07:30 with enhanced pay of £13.91 per hour for hours between midnight and 06:00. The role involves deliveries, prep of meats and vegetables, stock rotation, food safety, portion control, and cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or over for certain tasks or shifts.
• Must be able to work flexible nights and weekends.
• Demonstrates friendly and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deliveries and stock rotation.
• Prepare meats, vegetables and pastries for service.
• Maintain kitchen and food safety standards.
• Manage time for preparation and production of items.
• Accurately measure ingredients and portions.
• Perform cleaning duties daily, weekly, and monthly as directed.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour. (+ an extra £1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6:00am taking your hourly rate to £13.91)

We have Part Time positions (20hrs) available

Shift times are between 10:00pm to 07:30am .Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

ABOUT THE KITCHEN ASSISTANT ROLE

• Helping with deliveries.
• Preparing meats, vegetables and pastries
• Assisting in stock rotation.
• Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
• Effective time management for preparation and production of products.
• Precise measurements of ingredients and portion sizes.
• Executing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed.
