Job summary

SSP is hiring a Kitchen Assistant in the UK. You will handle accurate cooking and presentation to spec, measure ingredients and portions, and keep your station clean while maintaining food safety standards.

This fixed-term, part-time role runs through December 2026 with overnight incentives and training provided. The company partners with brands like M&S, Starbucks, Burger King and BrewDog in airports, stations, and services across the UK & Ireland.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but training is provided.
• Must have 5 years of references and Criminal Record Check.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Kitchen Assistant role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
  Fixed term contract, part time hours, until end of December 2026!
• Pay Rate: 13.43 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra 1.20 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, bringing your rate of pay to 14.63 per hour. Hours of operation are 3 am to 11 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays. Step into the buzz of hospitality!
