Job summary

Quest Waste Management is seeking experienced HGV drivers for night-shift operations in Leeds, delivering essential liquid waste and drainage services across the UK. You will drive Class 1 or Class 2 tankers, maintain safety standards, and complete required documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC and Tachograph card.
• Tank experience preferred; training available for right candidate.
• Street Works card desirable to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of specialist vacuum tankers (training provided).
• Respond to emergency call-outs including sewer blockages, flooding, and pollution incidents.
• Collect and safely dispose of waste in line with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Complete pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Record job details and necessary documentation.
• Ensure PPE is worn correctly and maintained.
• Support other teams when vehicles are off the road.
