Job summary

Motus Commercials is seeking a Driver & Support Operative for night shift in Oldham. You will collect and deliver customer vehicles, keep the workshop and yard tidy and safe, and help maintain orderly truck parking in the yard.

The role includes steam cleaning vehicles for MOT testing, banksman duties (training available), minor site repairs where possible, and assisting Technicians as required. Salary is up to £30,742.40 with benefits and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Brilliant levels of communication written and verbal
• Knowledge of local area
• Forklift licence an advantage (training can be provided)
• Experience in a workshop or automotive environment preferred
• Strong attention to Health & Safety

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of customers vehicles
• Keeping the workshop/Yard clean, tidy and safe at all times
• Maintaining organised truck parking in the yard
• Steam Clean vehicles for MOT testing
• Banksman duties - training available
• Minor site repairs where possible
• Assisting Technicians where required
