Motus Commercials in Motherwell is seeking a Night Driver & Support Operative to join the team for 4 nights per week from 19:00 to 07:00. Key duties include loading/unloading, presenting vehicles for MOT, and transporting customer vehicles.

The role requires a HGV Class 1 Licence, strong communication and safety awareness, and training for forklift operations and ADR may be provided where needed.

Qualificações

• HGV Class 1 licence required.
• ADR preferred but training can be given.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of local area.
• Forklift licence advantageous; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Load/unload test weights using a Forklift/Pallet truck for break testing (training available).
• Present vehicles for MOT testing.
• Collection and delivery of customers' vehicles.
• Keep workshop/yards clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Maintain organized truck parking in the yard.
• Steam clean vehicles for MOT testing.
• Assist Technicians as required.

Hours:4 Nights 19.00pm - 7.00am

What will you be doing:

• Loading/unloading test weights using a Forklift/Pallet truck for break testing - training available
• Presenting vehicles for MOT testing
• Collection and delivery of customers vehicles
• Keeping the workshop/Yard clean, tidy and safe at all times
• Maintaining organised truck parking in the yard
• Steam Clean vehicles for MOT testing
• Minor site repairs where possible
• Assisting Technicians where required

What are we looking for:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• ADR preferred not essential - Training can be given
• Brilliant levels of communication written and verbal
• Knowledge of local area
• Forklift licence an advantage (training can be provided)
• Experience in a workshop or automotive environment preferred
• Strong attention to Health & Safety
