Job summary

Motus Commercials in Motherwell is seeking a Night HGV Driver/Support Operative to work 4 nights 19:00–07:00. You will load/unload test weights, present vehicles for MOT, and handle vehicle collections and deliveries while keeping the yard and workshop safe and tidy.

Training is provided where needed, with ADR pref. optional. A forklift licence is an advantage, and health & safety is a priority in this role.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence required.
• ADR training preferred but not essential – training can be provided.
• Experience in a workshop or automotive environment is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload test weights using a forklift or pallet truck (training available).
• Present vehicles for MOT testing.
• Collect and deliver customer vehicles.
• Keep workshop/y ar d clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Maintain organised truck parking in the yard.
