Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver for our Castleford operations. You will join a team delivering goods safely and on time, with start times between 1am and 6am and a Monday–Friday pattern. This permanent, full-time role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

You may be required to stay overnight on some drops; benefits include on-site parking, a pension, 24/7 GP, staff discounts, loans and mortgage advice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 6 months of recent driving experience.
• Comfortable using a Pallet truck.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe, efficient manner per Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Follow health and safety standards and Highway Code.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• Assist with manual handling of customer products.
• Occasionally stay overnight on certain drops.
