Castle Employment in Goole is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Goole. The role involves multi-drop deliveries across mainland UK, with regular nights away and a permanent salary of £41,000 per annum.

The position offers an overnight allowance and a strong benefits package, including a dedicated tractor unit and a recently acquired fleet. Hours are Monday to Friday, with an average of up to 48 hours per week over a 17-week

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV Class 1 driver.
• Comfort with regular nights away from home.
• Ability to complete delivery documentation and checks.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned multi-drop delivery routes safely and efficiently
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and legal compliance
• Check and complete delivery documentation
• Maintain communication with Planning on delays or issues
• Ensure compliance with UK/EU Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations
• Represent the business professionally at customer sites
