Great Bear (Part of the Culina Group) in Skelmersdale is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent, Monday–Friday night shift delivering palletised goods to Regional Distribution Centres nationwide.

You will conduct safe deliveries, complete vehicle checks, and report issues to the Transport team. The role is nights, ~52.5 hours/week, with pay £15.35 per hour plus £1.25 night allowance and 1.5x overtime. Up to £16.60/hour on standard night shifts.

Qualificações

• C+E Licence required.
• HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no DD/DR convictions.
• Current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and professional approach.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres.
• Occasional night out may be required.
• Report delays, issues or load discrepancies to Transport team.
• Complete paperwork and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
• Follow company health, safety, and hygiene standards.
