Job summary

Euro Car Parts in Tamworth is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a permanent night shift.

In this role you will drive safely, complete deliveries and collections, deliver automotive parts to branches and customers, and ensure all paperwork and vehicle checks are accurate. Training rate is £15.00/hour; after training, £21.00/hour on nights. Reliability and a customer‑focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally.
• Complete deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
• Deliver automotive parts to branches and customers as required.
• Ensure all delivery and vehicle paperwork is completed accurately.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and during shifts.
• Load and unload goods safely where required.
• Secure loads correctly and ensuring goods arrive in excellent condition.
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Communicating professionally with transport teams, depot staff and customers.
• Reporting any vehicle defects, delivery issues or delays to the relevant team.
• Working safely and in accordance with all relevant driving legislation and company procedures.
