Job summary

Euro Car Parts in Tamworth is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for a permanent night shift. You will transport automotive parts to branches and customers, complete deliveries on time, and ensure paperwork and safety checks are carried out accurately.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, reliability, good communication, and a customer‑focused attitude.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join Euro Car Parts in Tamworth on a permanent night shift.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally.
• Completing deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
• Delivering automotive parts to branches and customers as required.
• Ensuring all delivery and vehicle paperwork is completed accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and during shifts.
• Loading and unloading goods safely where required.
• Securing loads correctly and ensuring goods arrive in excellent condition.
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Communicating professionally with transport teams, depot staff and customers.
• Reporting any vehicle defects, delivery issues or delays to the relevant team.
• Working safely and in accordance with all relevant driving legislation and company procedures.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible.

Pay

• Paying £21.00 per hour (£15.00 per hour whilst training)
