TLP in Southampton is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a temporary, ongoing night-shift role. The position offers £19 per hour and a busy transport operation with regular night work.

You will be responsible for night trunking and deliveries, completing paperwork, and ensuring loads are secure while adhering to drivers' hours and tachograph rules. The role suits reliable, punctual professionals seeking steady, long-term work in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Valid digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 driving duties during night shifts.
• Complete deliveries, collections or trunking duties as required.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately.
• Comply with drivers' hours regulations, tachograph legislation and road traffic laws.
• Maintain a professional and reliable approach throughout each shift.
