Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Nottingham is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant on a temporary part-time basis. You will be a Keyholder, opening or closing the shop in the absence of management, ensuring security and smooth operation with the team. The role includes stock replenishment, fulfilling online orders, and protecting stock from wastage while maintaining a clean, safe shop floor.

Hours are varied across seven days (approx. 20 hours) including early starts, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns
• Working with the wider shop team to support when needed including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer orders and more
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks
