Job summary

John Lewis Partnership, Waitrose & Partners, Pontprennau, Cardiff area, is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant to help deliver our Partner-led service. You will assist customers, stock shelves and support online orders as part of the local store team.

You will also help run Click & Collect, checkout support and maintain safe, tidy shop conditions, with a night premium for late hours. This temporary role includes fixed shift patterns and DBS/vetting may apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers and colleagues
• Able to work as part of a busy shop team

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place
• Fulfilling online orders for delivery to customers
• Reduce wastage by following date labels and markdowns
• Support checkout, Click & Collect and on-demand orders as needed
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment and shop floor housekeeping
