Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd is seeking two production operatives to join the nights team for a leading independent glass and glazing business in the UK. The role involves operating glass manufacturing machinery, cutting and assembling units to spec, and performing quality checks to ensure high standards.

The position offers a night shift schedule from 22:15 to 07:00 (and Thursdays 22:15–06:00), with weekly pay, holiday accrual, and a temp-to-perm pathway after 12 consecutive weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle or be able to get there on foot.
• Have safety boots and work wear.
• Must have a hands-on and willing to learn approach.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment involved in the glass manufacturing process.
• Cut, process, and assemble glass units to customer specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet high standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow all health & safety guidelines and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with your team to meet production targets.
