Job summary

Buffalo Rock Company seeks a Forklift Operator (Receiving) for the Central Hub in the distribution center. The role supports accurate receipt and shipment of products and dunnage, moving items to designated locations with emphasis on timely, safe handling.

Responsibilities include operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, performing pre-trip checks, and using RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System to process transactions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience.
• RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems experience preferred.
• Able to read product packaging and communicate in English.
• Must pass forklift certification and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down) to move products safely.
• Perform pre-trip inspection on power equipment.
• Verify inbound products against BOL, quantities, and expiration dates.
• Unload products from vendors and replenish loads.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to process receiving/moving transactions.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness; follow SOPs and GMPs.
