Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group seeks a Night Shift Forklift Operator in Poole to work a 30-hour week, midnight to 6am, five nights. You will operate forklifts at height, log items with handheld scanners, and support overnight stock control in a quiet, modern warehouse.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, a valid licence, and comfort with computer systems for basic updates. You will contribute to daytime operations by ensuring overnight processes run smoothly.

Night Shift Forklift Operator | Poole | £19.23 per hour

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator who thrives working independently in a quiet, structured environment? Are you confident operating forklifts at height and using scanning systems to maintain accurate stock control?

This Forklift Operator role will involve working only 30 hours a week, giving you lots of time to enjoy the summer sun. This role will be working from midnight until 6am Monday through to Friday. Owing to the hours of work and access to public transport, you'll either need to live in Poole or have your own vehicle.

As a Forklift Operator , your responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts safely to remove items from the shop floor and place them into storage
• Using handheld scanners to track, log, and record all items moved
• Ensuring all products created or processed during core hours are cleared overnight
• Working at height when required as part of the storage process
• Maintaining an organised, accurate and tidy warehouse environment

As a Forklift Operator , your experience will include:

• Previous forklift operation within a warehouse environment
• A valid forklift licence
• Confidence working at height
• Competent computer literacy for basic system updates
• Experience using handheld scanning units or similar technology
