Holt Engineering, based in Poole, is seeking a Goods In Forklift Operative to join a fast-moving team. The role involves safely moving materials, receiving deliveries, loading/unloading, stocking, and supporting production with timely material supply.

Permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, with salary up to £29,000 depending on experience and overtime opportunities. The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift licence and have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse, goods in or manufacturing environment.
• Valid forklift licence/certification
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment.
• Experience of goods in, loading/unloading and stock control.
• Good attention to detail
• Able to use initiative and work independently
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials and goods
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely within the warehouse
• Completing stock and inventory checks
• Picking and preparing materials for production
• Kitting production lines with the required materials and tools
• Packing and preparing goods for dispatch
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and stock levels
• Ensuring high standards of health, safety and quality are maintained
• Working closely with the warehouse and production teams to ensure materials are available when required

Holt Engineering are working with an industry leader in delivering innovative technology to the healthcare sector, based in Poole. They are looking for a Goods In Forklift Operative to join a fast-moving, people-focused business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forklift operative to join a busy warehouse and production environment, taking responsibility for the safe and efficient movement of materials and goods.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £29,000 depending on experience.

Key duties for the Goods In Forklift Operative:

• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials and goods
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely within the warehouse
• Completing stock and inventory checks
• Picking and preparing materials for production
• Kitting production lines with the required materials and tools
