Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Harrogate is hiring a Customer Assistant for our Food section. You’ll be on the frontline, delivering five-star service at pace and handling high customer demand with confidence.

Night shifts are required, with a £3 p/h unsocial premium for hours between 22:00 and 06:00. You’ll use Sparks App and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience and support store growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high levels of customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing store needs.
• Comfortable using digital tools to assist customers and complete transactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in the Food section with accuracy and enthusiasm.
• Provide product information and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain store standards and assist with stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
• Utilise Sparks App and store devices to enhance the customer experience.
