Job summary

Major Recruitment Huddersfield is seeking a reliable Night Shift Operative to join our site. You will start with day-shift training for 2–3 weeks before moving to the permanent night shift, working 12-hour nights from Monday to Thursday.

The role requires an active FLT/counterbalance licence, reliability, and a proactive attitude. You will operate machinery, move materials, and support the team to maintain safety and efficiency during night operations.

Qualifications

• A valid FLT licence is essential.
• Counterbalance licence held for at least one of the following.
• Reliable, punctual and consistent work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machinery safely and efficiently.
• Use an FLT to move materials as required.
• Cover colleagues' positions to allow breaks.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Support the smooth running of the operation through the night.
