Job Description:

Reporting to the Senior Reactive Engineer, the successful Reactive Fire Engineer will be part of the 1FM Fire contract, working permanent night shifts from Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL. Your role involves fire maintenance, fault rectification, and ensuring high standards of work, including alarms, suppression, and detection systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Fault maintenance and rectification of fire alarm, suppression, and detection systems
  • Completing work to a high standard (first-time fix)
  • Attending and rectifying daily faults on the 1FM Fire contract
  • Updating the Senior Reactive Engineer on issues and progress
  • Promoting a safe working environment
  • Assisting with scheduling and work allocation

Candidate Requirements:

  • Availability for permanent night shifts (7 pm – 7 am, 4 nights on, 4 nights off)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Understanding of isolations and faults related to the 1FM Fire contract
  • Proven reactive maintenance experience
  • Ability to work independently or in teams across multiple sites
