Job summary

A leading UK retailer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Nights) to join their Facilities team. This role involves routine maintenance, safety compliance, and problem-solving within an automated distribution environment. The ideal candidate will hold a level 2 Engineering qualification, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a proactive workplace. Qualifications

• Experience as a Facilities Engineer.
• IOSH working safely/general NEBOSH qualification.
• Previously worked in an automated warehouse.
• Have a professional trade recognized with industry specific qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Advise on plant safety, condition and performance.
• Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Responsible for inspection and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical installations.
• Contribute to End of Shift Reports and undertake Root Cause Analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
