Job summary

CMS London is seeking a skilled Night Shift Facilities Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance and minor refurbishment across our corporate headquarters, ensuring spaces remain functional and professional for staff and clients.

You will respond to helpdesk requests, maintain records, handle night-time urgent repairs, conduct inspections, and support moves and meeting room setups, while upholding health and safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services and facilities maintenance.
• Experience in client-facing environments.
• Excellent communication across all levels.
• Well organised with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to Facilities Helpdesk requests with clear updates.
• Maintain accurate records of workplace activities.
• Handle night-shift urgent repairs (leaks, fixtures, furniture).
• Conduct routine inspections and participate in emergency rota.
• Adhere to method statements and risk assessments for safe work.
• Support office moves, IT and confidential material relocation.
• Set up/reconfigure meeting rooms and event spaces per bookings.
• Liaise with departments to minimise disruption and deliver quality.
