Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Night Shift Laminating Technician to produce high-quality composite components for current and future Formula 1 cars. You will work on laminating, mould prep, vacuum bagging and autoclave operations to support race-winning performance.

Based in Woking, this on-site role demands meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem solving and clear communication to coordinate with the Composite Laminating team and other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a skilled laminator.
• Experience in motorsport, particularly F1, or aerospace is preferable.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Clear, accurate communication skills and the initiative to identify tasks and offer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce and laminate components for current and future F1 cars.
• Prepare, manufacture and maintain moulds.
• Vacuum bag components and operate autoclaves.
• Follow prescribed processes, work safely and support other teams as workload requires.
