Job summary

Safran in Wolverhampton is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure maximum uptime of production equipment and site services. You will perform fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs and modifications to CNC machinery, electrical and hydraulic systems, and read electrical schematics.

The role involves reactive and planned maintenance across hydraulic test systems, CNC equipment, heat treatment and plating facilities, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance or Service Engineer role.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with a range of industrial systems and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CNC machinery and electrical systems, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
• Conduct fault-finding, diagnosis and modifications of high-tech equipment.
• Carry out planned maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems and associated instrumentation.
