Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems in Wolverhampton is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure maximum uptime of critical production equipment and site services. You will conduct electrical fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs, and modifications to high-tech machinery, and support CNC equipment maintenance.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, strong knowledge of CNC machinery, and experience in maintenance or service engineering.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in maintenance or service engineering roles.
• Familiarity with EH&S legislation and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Maximise uptime of production equipment and site services through reactive and planned maintenance.
• Conduct electrical fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs and modifications.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic test systems and associated instrumentation.
• Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Support maintenance of process equipment including heat treatment and plating facilities.
