Job summary

Booker is seeking a Nighttime Transport Supervisor to lead a busy delivery operation. You will manage a team of drivers and pickers, drive daily targets, and uphold customer satisfaction with strong telephone and service skills.

You will ensure policy compliance, communicate key management information, maintain a safe workplace, and support the delivery manager to keep vehicles roadworthy and tasks on track.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a small to medium sized team in warehousing or transport.
• Strong customer-focused service skills and telephone etiquette.
• Management CPC would be advantageous to the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
• Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting Health & Safety concerns.
• Promote brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service while following guidelines.
• Support the delivery manager to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
• Plan and coordinate tasks to be completed efficiently and on time.
