Job summary

Multax Ltd in Andover is seeking a meticulous Deburrer/Finishing Operative to join our manufacturing team. You will finish machined parts using hand tools, verify dimensions and ensure surfaces meet quality standards.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, coordinate with Inspection and Team Leaders, and maintain a clean, safe work area during night shifts. The role offers a competitive hourly rate with night shift premium, 25 days holiday, private medical insurance, death in service

Qualifications

• Experience in deburring metallic components.
• Proficient with hand tools for surface finishing.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and specs.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deburr and finish machined components using hand tools.
• Polish and refine components to meet specs and quality.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for accurate finishing.
• Coordinate with Inspection and Team Leaders to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Take basic measurements and carry out minor repairs as needed.
• Plan and manage workload, reporting issues or downtime.
